Repeat Prescriptions

greenpillsRegular prescriptions should be agreed in advance with your doctor, and are issued by computer.

The most convenient way to order is on the internet via this secure link (you need to pre-register at the surgery in order to use this service). You simply pick from your usual list of items.

Alternatively, use the printed order slip provided with your last prescription. TICK THE ITEMS YOU REQUIRE.

Most prescriptions wil be ready the next working day after lunch, but ordering 48 hours before collection will ensure you don't make a wasted journey. Enclose an SAE if you prefer us to post the prescription to you.

For reasons of safety and keeping the lines free we prefer not to take prescription requests by telephone but if you have any difficulty, the prescription clerk is available on 01253 957640 between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm every weekday.

We do not normally leave prescriptions for new symptoms. If you are concerned we think it best to see a healthcare professional.

If you consider you need an item not yet on your repeat prescription list, speak to the prescription clerk. Allow at least 48 hours for the doctor's reply. It may be better to consult your doctor directly.
