Surgery Hours

The surgery building and phone lines are open to patients at the following times:-

SATURDAY, SUNDAY and BANK HOLIDAYS- CLOSED ALL DAY

Note:
On Wednesday afternoon the surgery does not deal with emergencies. This is to enable staff training and continuing medical education for the doctors. If you need a doctor in emergency after 1pm please contact the Primary Care Centre at Blackpool Victoria Hospital on 0300 123 1144. From 1.00pm on Wednesdays the surgery is open for pre-booked clinics and routine telephone contact only.

In an emergency when the surgery is closed, telephone 0300 123 1144.

Out of Hours Services

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Out-of-hours medical services are provided by Fylde Coast Medical Services. This is a locally based organisation contracted by Blackpool PCT to provide medical care outside routine hours solely to patients in the Fylde Coast Area.

FCMS can be contacted on 0300 123 1144. The service provides telephone advice, consultations at the Primary Care Centre at Victoria Hospital Blackpool, and sometimes on Saturday mornings in St. Annes and when necessary, home visits. They employ a range of professionals to help you, including specialist nurses and pharmacists.
